Nestled in the heart of the Hornsby Shire sits our welcoming boutique yoga studio. The OM Movement offers its clients an urban oasis to leave behind the stresses, hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The studio has been a part of the wider Hornsby community since 2013, with clients coming in seven days a week to reconnect with themselves, to find balance and to improve both their physical and mental health.

A class for everyone

Yoga unites the mind, body and soul in a way that eases tension and promotes health. Regular practice improves breathing, increases endurance for other actives, and promotes mindfulness. Take a break from your day. Focus on yourself and find clarity.

You can come in for one of our heated flow classes to work up a great sweat, or perhaps you will enjoy a shorter heated flow class followed by a guided meditation. Or maybe you prefer a softer, more restorative yin practice or a more traditional Kundalini session.

We offer regular special events and workshops, and host student groups from high schools offering yoga as part of their PDHPE curriculum at our studio.

Focusing on you

Even though our studio is spacious, we keep our class sizes relatively small so that we are able to provide our clients with the best possible experience.

Not only do our smaller group sizes allow for us to really get to know our clients, it also allows us to create an environment in which you feel safe and supported at all times.

We work with our clients to find the best way to practice yoga to suit their individual needs; whether that is using the props available, trying a more—or less—challenging variation of a pose, or whether that is suggesting modifications for those who are working around injuries or other limitations.

We know how time poor most people are and how difficult it can be to add another activity to your already busy schedule, so we offer classes seven days a week. All of our classes are suitable for anyone with a basic level of fitness; our instructors will offer alternatives, modifications or extensions to poses depending on clients’ experience and ability level.

Our Classes

Flow (Heated)

Intensify your yoga practice with our heated dynamic flow classes! Our Flow classes link movement and breath allowing you to flow from pose to pose with intention. These relatively fast-paced classes are sequenced to offer a variety of poses that link together smoothly. The heat helps warm up the outer muscle tissues, improving flexibility without increasing the risk of injury. Each session is concluded with a brief relaxation.

Flow & Meditation (Heated)

Enjoy 40 minutes of our signature heated, breath guided Flow yoga practice, and then bring it all down with a relaxing 20-minute guided meditation. Meditations vary from week to week, from traditional Yoga Nidra Meditations to Guided Imagery Meditations. Meditation enhances our connection with ourselves, increases mindfulness, reduces stress, promotes relaxation, and enhances personal and spiritual growth.

Suitable for all levels

Yin (Unheated)

Yin yoga sessions consist of a smaller number of long-held seated or reclined poses. Props (bolsters, blocks and blankets) are used to make the practice accessible for anyone. This calming, mindful practice rejuvenates the body by stretching the deeper muscle tissues, tendons and ligaments, and the fascia of the body. The meditative quality of the practice reduces stress and anxiety and balances mind and body.

Serenity - Unlimited Sessions

$75 per fortnight (ongoing autopay)

Our premium membership for those for whom there is no such thing as too much yoga! For only $5 per fortnight more than our Harmony membership, you will be able to attend as many yoga sessions as you can fit into each week.

Initial payment credits your account with unlimited classes for 2 weeks. Subsequent ongoing payments are deducted automatically every fortnight. This membership has a minimum term of 2 months and can be canceled at any time after that. Any unused classes will be forfeited.

Stillness - 2 Sessions per Fortnight

$40 per fortnight (ongoing autopay)

For those who would like to enjoy the benefits of the lower per session price of an ongoing membership, and who expect to attend practice once each week.

Initial payment credits your account with 2 classes and 2 weeks to use them. Subsequent ongoing payments are deducted automatically every fortnight. This membership has a minimum term of 2 months and can be canceled at any time after that. Any unused classes will be forfeited.

Balance - 4 Session per Fortnight

$60 per fortnight (ongoing autopay)

For those who want to make yoga a regular part of each week, and who expect to attend practice twice a week.

Initial payment credits your account with 4 classes and 2 weeks to use them. Subsequent ongoing payments are deducted automatically every fortnight. This membership has a minimum term of 2 months and can be canceled at any time after that. Any unused classes will be forfeited.

Harmony - 8 Session per Fortnight

$70 per fortnight (ongoing autopay)

For those who would like to take their yoga practice to the next level, and who expect to attend practice up to 4 times per week.

Initial payment credits your account with 8 classes and 2 weeks to use them. Subsequent ongoing payments are deducted automatically every fortnight. This membership has a minimum term of 2 months and can be canceled at any time after that. Any unused classes will be forfeited.
